On the very day that Nancy Sharp became a mother to girl-boy twins, she learned that her husband’s cancer returned. Life and death all at once. From that day forward, Casey and Rebecca, born prematurely at 30 weeks, clung to life, while her husband Brett began a slow and anguishing descent. He died a few years later when Nancy was 37 and the twins weren’t even three years old. Facing an uncertain future with no life insurance and children whose special needs she could not yet anticipate, Nancy realized that two choices existed: she could continue to dwell in the space of mourning and fear, or she could give herself permission to design a different life and pursue her goals.

Ignite Your Resilience™, Nancy shares her unforgettable journey of resilience and offers the inspiration and roadmap for others to do the same…in business and life. Audiences will gain a more nuanced perspective about challenges they face by learning about the new paradigm of gray—the flexible space beyond black and white thinking where acceptance, creativity, and boldness lies.  “Being in the gray is what allowed me to make positive change and to keep stepping forward in spite of the obstacles and uncertainties,” says Nancy.
