Join the Women’s Experience in a storytelling workshop led by award-winning author and storytelling coach Nancy Sharp. The program is based on the Guided Autobiography (GAB) curriculum, a field of study that helps individuals to reflect and document meaningful life stories.
- There is no writing experience necessary. Think storytelling!
- We are writing autobiographically, not writing an actual autobiography.
- We’ll meet in-person for two hours over the course of eight sessions.
- We’ll focus on four universal themes: Branching Points, Family, Joy, and Spirituality.
- We’ll write two pages every other week on each of the above themes (you can hand write, print your story out, or read it from a phone or laptop)
- The workshop will be capped at 16 students.
- This is not a writing workshop; you won’t be edited, nor will you—or anyone-critique anyone’s stories. We learn about ourselves and one another by listening and sharing.
- Bring only yourselves and the willingness to reflect on your life – past, present, and future.
